Midwest Iron Doors

I am a construction superintendent with 40 years of experience and did a lot of research to find the right manufacturer for my own home. Although the wait was long I received a door to my specifications that was of good quality. I did the install myself with the help of 4 carpenters(heavy!). The door hardware matched perfectly and and the reveals were spot on. I don't know how the finish will hold up but so far so good. The door itself is made in China which gave me pause and this is not mentioned on the website. All in all a good experience.

After almost 10 years of doing business with MWID I can say that the customer service has never waivered, the communication is top notch and the product is exceptional. It is the only iron door I will ever own or sell.

I have been trying for over two years to get my door repaired ,or replace it if you can't repair it. The metal is peeling off the wood. Dan Cullinane canceled two appointments before the pandemic. When travel was open again, I emailed Dan he said he would send paint, and said any painter could paint it. I explained the problem and sent pictures. He will no longer respond. I called and asked for the owner and explained the issue.I have had no response from this company. This door cost me almost $10,000. I noticed the response to reviews sent this company. Believe me I have better things to do with my time than to send false information about any company. I just want my door fixed or replaced.

I have purchased 7 doors from Midwest. I have worked with two other Iron door companies in the past and neither of them have the quality of midwest's doors. Midwest's custom design abilities are great and the doors have provided the WOW factor we strive for on our projects. If you live somewhere that gets cold in the winter you are crazy to buy a iron door from anywhere else.
